Review by hotel critic
The large rooms offered ample space and a comfortable stay, making it a great choice for those looking for a budget-friendly option without compromising on comfort. The convenient location, just minutes away from the opera house and square, added to the overall appeal of the hotel. One standout feature was the availability of three Amazon tour agencies in the lobby, providing easy access to tour options for guests interested in exploring the region. While the breakfast offered a sizeable spread with a good variety, the hotel lacked certain luxury amenities commonly found in higher-end establishments. The staff were friendly, helpful, and proficient in English, ensuring a pleasant experience overall. While Dez De Julho may not boast five-star luxury, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay, particularly suitable for short visits or those on a tighter budget. The hotel strikes a balance between cost and comfort, making it a practical choice for discerning travelers seeking affordability without compromising on key amenities.
